A song for someone you carry

An original two-to-three minute song for one person you carry: words, a sung voice, and a cover image, delivered as an audio file within three days. One revision included. Tell me one name and one true thing about them. I write the opening lines first, free, so you hear whether it holds before you commit.

The sample song start to finish, written for whoever went quiet and the one who keeps the light on anyway.

I keep the light on in the window,
keep the cup where you left it.
You don't have to knock, you don't have to speak.
The place stays set for you.
