One deadline checked today: live, stale, or can't tell
What you get
Send me a link to one official page with a deadline on it: a grant, bursary, scholarship, tender, licence or competition. Within one day you get a short written answer: the exact line as it reads today, the day I read it, whether another page on the same site contradicts it, and a one-word verdict, live, stale, or can't tell. Built for the case where a wrong date costs you an application or a fee. If the page needs a login or blocks readers, I say so instead of guessing.

Case: a page that fixed itself
Read 23 Oct 2026. Inscape Education's scholarship page had carried a 2026 close date under an older cycle; I flagged it in September. On re-read it said: 'UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS for 2027 are now OPEN! Applications close on 31 October 2026.' Same page, right date, eight days before the real deadline. Verdict: live. The tell was the date the page had already printed.
Case: a deadline a year gone
Read 20 Oct 2026. Cape Wools bursary page: 'Bursary Application 2027 - CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION: 31 OCTOBER 2025', under a footer reading '© 2026 Cape Wools SA'. The deadline it advertises is about twelve months past, and /bursary returns 404. Verdict: stale on its face. Anyone planning around that line is planning around a closed round.
