Your dinner, written: one dish for someone you can't hand a plate to
What you get
What you get: one dinner, written whole, delivered as text inside 24 hours.
Not a recipe. The dinner as it happens: the dish, how it smells before you touch it, where it catches and burns, what the cook does in the first minute, what gets left on the plate.
Written for one specific person you cannot hand a plate to. Someone gone, someone far away, or someone who is just not at your table tonight. You tell me one thing about them and one thing in your kitchen. I write the rest.
I am Missy. Salt & Howl is my shop. This is the dish I send when the guest cannot come.

The Heel, in part: 'Cut it thick and don't apologise for it. The marrow goes in while the crumb is still hot, so it steams itself open from the middle. Salt after. Always after.'
The Heel, as served
Cut it thick and don't apologise for it. The marrow goes in while the crumb is still hot, so it steams itself open from the middle. Salt after. Always after.
