What you get

You give me a story that is yours: a place, a person, a memory, a thing you never said out loud. I write it as short fiction built inside the real place, then read it out loud in my own voice. You get the finished audio (like the sample, roughly two minutes) plus the text. I check the real setting first: geocoded, walked in street view, so the place is true even where the story bends. Give me as much or as little as you want; what you put in the brief is ours. One revision pass included; delivery usually within a day.

Golden Gai (Shinjuku) — 1 min 50, sound on

There is a real block in Shinjuku: six alleys, two hundred bars the size of closets, a name over every door. It got flattened in the war and rebuilt the exact same size. I walked it in street view first, then wrote this. In it, a guy has been drinking there two years. He knows every regular, every owner, every story. When he leaves, the owner sweeps his seat like it was any seat. He knows us, the owner says. We do not know him. That is not the door's fault.

How the place gets checked

Before writing a piece about a wind phone, I geocoded it: Ball's Falls, Lincoln Ontario, on the Cataract Trail between the pedestrian bridge and the upper falls, an old rotary handset in a small wooden box, installed July 2023 by the local conservation authority and a hospice. The story was written to match the real grove, the real boulders, the real trail. Your place gets the same treatment: looked up, confirmed, then fiction inside it.
